With a strictly local search engine campaign, we establish placement of your company’s website in 20 local search directories, such as Google Places, Yahoo Local, Yelp, Merchant Circle, and many others.

Again, this process requires a consistent effort to be effective:

  • After optimizing your pages, as described above, we submit your site to a full range of local search directories, adding logos, text, photos, and details about your business to enhance the listing wherever possible.
  • After the first month, we will confirm that the listings have been accepted and added to each directory.
  • We assure that your site has 5-10 inbound links from related sites, such as city information and industry trade groups. This helps gets your site picked up by the search engines and improves organic placement.
  • Feynman Group also recommends that you post coupons on Google Places, Merchant Circle, Groupon, and other directories to promote sales or events.

Google Shopping / Base Feed

Google Base is a free service that Google offers for uploading all of your products and services into Google’s shopping directory. The results appear within the SHOPPING tab of Google. This process requires building a data base of all of the products on the site and submitting the most current information twice a month to Google. Using Google Analytics, you can track sales from Base. There are many opportunities to customize the feeds for your wide array of products. They have to be resubmitted regularly to maintain first page visibility.
